BRIEF
To illustrate and recreate parts of the novel Alice Through the Looking-Glass by Lewis Carroll.

CONCEPT
As a group, it was decided that the eclectic mood of the book could be linked to some of the various forms of narcotics in which the author had some encounters with. We were to portray the effects of the chemical substance through the graphic style. My chapter was illustrated through some effects of Methaqualone. Hazy, dark and slow.
EXECUTION
I hand-cut layers and layers of paper per double page spread and photographed this though a home made light box with various coloured acetate. The images were then cleaned up in Photoshop and combined with the typography in InDesign.

SKILLS
Typography, photography, paper crafts & layout
